Pahrump Dust and Your Car's Interior: Where It Hides and How to Get It Out
Pahrump dust works its way into vents, seams and carpet. Here is where it hides inside your car and how an interior detail removes it.

Why the dust gets everywhere
Dry ground, wind and dirt roads mean fine dust is part of daily driving in Pahrump. Every time a door opens, some of it comes inside.
Over weeks it settles in air vents, the seat tracks, the seams of the seats and deep in the carpet fibers, where a quick vacuum never reaches.
The spots most people miss
Air vents and the dash seams. The gap between the seats and the center console. Door pockets and the rubber seals around the doors. The cargo area under the floor mat.
Dust in those spots keeps blowing back out every time the air runs, which is why a car can look clean and still feel dusty.
What an interior detail does about it
An interior detail blows dust out of the vents and seams, vacuums every surface, and cleans and extracts the seats and carpet. Hard surfaces are wiped down so dust has less to cling to.
Between details, keep a soft brush and a microfiber towel in the car and give the dash a quick wipe once a week.
